An opportunity has arisen within the Cameras, Tickets and Collisions Unit (CTC), to join the Prosecutions Team, Joint Protective Services, in the role of Case Officer.

This role will require the successful applicant to review prosecution files relating to road traffic offences and related collision reports, assess the evidence and make decisions about the course of action. We are looking for candidates who have decision making experience and knowledge of the Road Traffic Act and or Criminal Justice system. Someone who understands the administrative processes involved in paper and digital investigations, and knows the requirements for bringing cases to Court.
The post holder will build prosecution files, liaise with course providers and communicate with victims, witnesses and offenders to explain the processes and the outcomes.
You will also have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively and be able to work with people from a variety of organisations.
This role involves dealing with a high volume of traffic cases and as such we are looking for applicants who have the skills and ability to manage large workloads, and multi-task in a high pressure environment.
